Our Chef
Chef Celeste is a globe-trotting culinary artist, weaving flavours and techniques from around the world into unforgettable dining experiences. From Michelin-starred kitchens in Melbourne to mastering wood-fired cooking in Park City, Celeste has spent time exploring the vibrant traditions of every continent. Her journey has been one of passion and precision.
She honed her craft alongside culinary greats like Gordon Ramsey, Yotam Ottolenghi and Viet Pham before launching her own ventures— Wandering Supper Club, A Good Mood Food, and then Spoon & Scallop in 2018 with her husband Dave, blending fine cuisine with warm Irish hospitality.
As an accomplished and visionary chef, Celeste is also a consultant to others in the Hospitality and Food Industries. She is an advocate of gardening, foraging, and old techniques of food preservation and spreads awareness through her work and charity efforts. Passionate about meaningful collaborations, she loves to partner with like-minded brands and individuals to create something truly special.

Spoon & Scallop began in 2018 as a passion project—intimate pop-up dinners in a cosy Kinsale café. What started as a boutique venture soon blossomed into a luxury dining experience, bringing world-class cuisine and warm hospitality directly to you.
Specialising in celebrations, we curate bespoke dining for groups of 6 to 60, transforming milestone birthdays, intimate weddings, anniversaries, and unforgettable holidays into extraordinary experiences. From the first toast to the late-night snacks, our team ensures every detail is seamless so you can savour the moment with the people who matter most.
